The new Malamocco gate of the MOSE project, the system of mobile barriers designed to protect the city of Venice from high tides, features controlled-tension HV En14399-4 bolts from the Tecnosix range.
Andrea Delfino, Structural Bolts Division Manager at Fast Trade – Fixing business, explains: \u00abWe contributed to constructing the new seaward gate of the navigation lock at the Malamocco inlet. This gate, complete with electromechanical systems and measuring 54 m x 16 m x 7 m, requires installing a rail-based movement system to be positioned on the seabed using a submerged bell, allowing dry operations at a depth of 14 meters\u00bb.
